Located by the peaceful river, we found this hostel to be a wonderful haven for any traveller. the rooms were comfortable with cozy duvets and fluffy pillows. the shared spaces were accommodating with a well, equipped kitchen and easy, to, use laundry facilities. the onsite bike rentals allowed us to explore the picturesque river on two wheels. Despite a slight inconvenience with the narrow path down to the car park, the fantastic fish n' chips spot recommended by the hosts made up for it. We would highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay.

Spending New Year's Eve at this backpacker's hostel was memorable. The decor was vibrant and the facilities were clean. The free bike rental was handy for exploring the area, and the 30 minute outdoor spa was a relaxing treat. The hostel was also conveniently located near the town center and river, making it easy to enjoy the charming surroundings.
The hostel's dorm rooms had some variation in size and quality, and the lack of consistency made it difficult to know what to expect. the staff's customer service skills were mixed.

It was by far, the cleanest and most well kept hostel on my entire trip in NZ. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the kitchen was spotless. Fantastic place!

Unfortunately we booked at the last minute and only a room with bunk beds was available. We received free internet.

The owner's local knowledge and suggestions were invaluable. Best hostel I've stayed in. Homely atmosphere, perfect for solo travelers. Spacious rooms and plenty of chill-out areas. Bikes and kayaks available for use. Delicious daily cakes made by staff.
No complaints.

I was friendly to let you know that I wanted to cancel my stay so you could use that room for someone else .I was travelling with an older relative , due to weather I knew she would not be feeling comfortable , and the only thing I got from you was to be laughed at for the reason why I cancelled . Soooo I would not recommend you to others.

We had a fantastic stay at this amazing hostel in Greymouth. The rooms were clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to cook a lovely meal. We also enjoyed the separate video lounge for a late-night movie. The free kayaking was a lot of fun for our hyperactive teens.

The cleanliness was great, and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The kitchen was spacious with huge windows, and all the cooking utensils I needed were available. The lounge area had everything! Books, board games, musical instruments, comfortable lounges, and even Netflix. The staff were friendly and helped make my stay nice. The location was also great, on the outskirts of town with easy access to activities in the area on the West Coast.
Nothings.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail in the decor and facilities was impeccable - the rooms were tidy and beautifully decorated with a unique African theme, and the common areas were cosy and inviting. I particularly loved the little touches like hot water bottles and a shelf for belongings in the bunk beds. Secondly, the location of this hotel is perfect for nature enthusiasts like me. Situated on the outskirts of town, it allowed me to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and be away from the hustle and bustle. Lastly, the staff here were amazing - friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. From the moment I checked in until the moment I left, they made sure I had a comfortable and pleasant stay.
All was smooth sailing during my stay. Everything was just perfect!

This hotel was a great value for money, with reasonable prices for the quality and service provided. The attention to detail in the rooms, with expressive funky decor and a little balcony, added a unique touch to our stay. The location, on the outskirts of the town, gave us a tranquil experience with beautiful nature views over the ocean.
All was satisfactory during our stay.
